Was relieved to see Big Ben hit the field at the start of the game. But Ben isn't what I want to talk about. Really.
My main question is: who is that team and what have they done with the real Bengals?
How is it that the Bengals are top of the division and the Ravens are at the bottom?
It used to be that Cleveland was the big bad enemy. Well, I grew up in a place where the rivalries were more dangerous than they are in the US... but I never wanted to wear my Steelers shirt anywhere near the dogpound. And, although I lived in Baltimore for a year, I could never bring myself to support the Ravens. But is Cincinnati the new team to fear in the AFC North? Will our game against them be a more important one than next weekend's against New England?
Then again, there has been a full moon in the past week.

things i think i think
well remember what the Emperor Chaz always you say about on any given sunday any one team can beat any other team-the bungals were starting to come on last year-my son als0-1 mentioned them and although he is thrilled the ravens are 0-2-he wonders about cincinnati as well. the patriots lost today-very bizarre-but we are 2 games into the season and things do not always seems to be what they appear-pittsburgh started out -0-1 and then went on to win 15 in a row-go figure.September 19 2005, 01:34:14 UTC 6 years ago

My 2 cents
Steelers are still doing great, and I don't think that is going to change real soon. Before the season began, I figured the Patriots would be the big struggle for the Steelers this year, but I'm changing that. Patriots are already beginning to struggle, and I'm guessing they'll struggle all year (thank god). No team has been to those elusive three straight Super Bowls, and the Pats sure as hell aren't going to make it :)What's left for the Steelers to fear? Cincinnati, in my mind. Well, and maybe Indianapolis. I wouldn't be surprised to see Cincinnati win one of the two confrontations with the Steelers this year. If I remember right, the Bengals didn't play too bad against us last year, and they are looking really good this year. If the running game and our defense stays healthy, though, I wouldn't be surprised to see us go 14-2 or 15-1. Only big obstacles are Cincinnati and the Colts. Pats are washed up :).
And yes, I'll say that our first game against the Bengals (an away game, too) is going to be more important than against the Pats. If we can dominate the Bengals, then I'd say we're Super Bowl bound.
Prediction for next week: 27-16 Go Steelers :)
